Okay, not really that long, because I've been short on words lately, it seems.

College has kept me busy. Seriously busy. I've had some difficulty keeping up with own thoughts at times - don't get me wrong, it's not like I'm having trouble with college, I'm really not, it's just that I have very little time for myself. When I do have time for myself, I'm not spending it writing or drawing, I literally just shut my brain off an surf the web for an hour or so. Drawing and writing force me to be deliberate in my actions, and on my downtime, I really don't have the mental capacity to do so.

Simple answer, really. I have 3 papers this semester (each about 10 pages), and a lot of reading. I kind of regret taking American Literature alongside University Writing because of the amount of work I have to do, but then I kind of don't - I felt really lazy last semester because I wasn't taking a reading/writing class when I had the opportune moment to do so. Now I am, and I feel great because there's a lot we're going into and being in depth about, but at the same time I feel a little overwhelmed at the work, even though I keep up with it all the time.

I really should not have taken only 13 credit hours last semester, if I took more, I wouldn't be making up for it with 17 this semester.

Anyways, short summary of my life outside of school:

-Grandmother died
